Established in the early 60's, the Sonoma Mountain Repeater Society has been continuously providing public service and open repeater coverage for the North Bay Area Counties.
Headquartered in Sonoma County, the SMRS owns and maintains several repeaters which in addition to allowing HAMs to keep in touch with their peers, the SMRS repeaters support emergency communication services for volunteer organizations such as the ACS and ARES.
